Prelude to the project SMüR
Prelude to the project SMüR - smart mobility stations for rural regions
The project's objective ist the cration of a modular concept for smart mobility stations. At a location in the Mansfeld-Südharz district a prototype is to be created and tested.
In addition to the prototype construction, planning tools for smart mobility stations will be developed. With these tools requirements will be determined. Also the compilation of individual modules to a mobility station can be planned and configured in a 3D application.
Using real-time data users are given online e.g. data for state of charge/capacity/free capacities of the station. The smart mobility stations are equipped with an infotainment system that can be used to obtain tourist or timetable-related information.
Due to the modularity of the stations various elements can be combined and expanded depending on regional requirements.
On Aug. 26th 2022 the kick-off meeting for the project, which is being funded through the Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport’s “mFund” program, was held in Lutherstadt Eisleben. It was attended by all project partners as well as representatives from Saxony-Anhalt’s political parties and businesses.
The prominent guests Andre Schröder (district administrator of the rural district Mansfeld-Südharz) and Carsten Staub (mayor of the city Eisleben) addressed their greetings and expectations to the project team in the train station of Eisleben which was used as convention hall.
